Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineering can be considered as a process from product to design. Putting it simply, reverse engineering is the process to get engineering data (including various blueprints or data models) from existing products. Bordersun provides a laser reading machine to scan the existing product and get the three-dimensional contour data, cooperates with the professional reverse software to reconstruct the model, and finally generates the program to carry out the CNC machining.

In this sense, reverse engineering has been used in industrial design for a long time. For example, the ship lofting design commonly used in the early shipbuilding industry is a good example of reverse engineering.

If you already have a sample but do not have 3D data, you can send us the sample for making prototypes. We will reconstruct the model, send 3D data to you for confirmation or directly process the prototypes based on your approval.
